Mr. Rob has 30 years’ experience teaching beginner to advanced level guitar to children and adults through tried and proven methods with successful results. Many of his young guitar students are the second generation of his original clientele. Some of Rob's students are comprised of beginners that began an exciting journey to learn to play the guitar as a hobby, and have excelled to playing in local bands, and some have moved on to professional careers playing the guitar. Rob has a 30 year track record of success with students of all levels. He has 35 years professional experience in writing, major label recording, arranging and live performance. He includes the Rhythm Guitar syllabus for chord theory and application including attention to right hand and left hand mechanics and techniques. He is skilled in teaching students how to learn or improve their strumming skills, smooth arpeggios and clean, crisp chord movement and formation. He also teaches composition in several styles, lead guitar improvisation; the use of scales and modes, theory, application and obtaining melody, speed, accuracy and fluidity of movement through all positions on the neck, picking, fingering, conceptual and mechanical skills through tried and proven methods. For his more advanced students, he can help with Band and artist development and coaching, how to find and choose band members, recording studios, venues to play and marketing. Rob is an internationally accomplished live performance and session lead guitarist, Rob has performed across the U.S. and abroad touring as a headliner with his own bands, Zeta Bane and the Ground Zero Blues Band. Rob has played with national acts such as Buddy Guy, Otis Rush, Albert King, Johnny “Clyde” Copeland, and opening for and toured with Jefferson Starship, Blue Oyster Cult, The New York Dolls, David Johansen Band, Berlin, and George Lynch/Lynch Mob to mention a few. ~~~...”Rob is the consummate professional on guitar.
