About Us

Our Commitment

We try hard to help each student achieve his or her musical goal.

Because we are a Fairfield County owned and operated company we give our customers exclusive extras and attention to detail that NO national franchise EVER could.

We offer many programs that compliment our in home lessons such as: Traditional Recitals, Rock Shows, Summer Music Camps, Low and No Cost Rentals, MTN Web Radio and Music Student Resources.

These extras give our students the opportunity to experience music lessons from all angles.

Our programs are second to none because we sincerely feel our students deserve the best!

What to Expect

When you call us about lessons, you will most likely speak to the owner, Scott Hargus.

Described as a funny, friendly knowledgeable and dedicated instructor himself, Scott will spend as much time with you as needed to answer your questions.

He will also use this time to find out about the student's personality, goals, needs etc.

Based on this conversation, a teacher that best matches the student, will be informed to contact you within 24 hours to set up your lesson.

Next a fun, friendly, knowledgeable teacher will arrive at your door ready and happy to help the student reach and/or create their personal musical goal.

The Music Teachers Network llc Difference

We are 100% committed to our customers satisfaction and safety. That’s why all of our teachers are certified by the company owner, a musician and teacher of 30 years. On top of the regular background check that most national companies do, potential teachers undergo a 5 point IN PERSON screening conducted directly by the owner.

When we say our teachers are certified, it’s not just an advertising tactic, we mean it!!!! We would never send a teacher into your home that we wouldn’t have in our own homes. This level of commitment is not possible or profitable on a national level. We know this because several MTN rejected teachers are now working for national agencies with far lower standards for safety and quality.
