Options For Guitar Lessons

  • Acoustic 6 String Guitar

    Acoustic guitars have 6 strings and come in 3 main scale lengths to fit all sizes of student. The sizes are 1/2, 3/4 and full size.  Acoustic guitars make their sound by vibrating the front sound board which gets amplified inside the hollow body of the guitar. 

    Acoustic Guitars are  great for camp fire/ holiday sing alongs or playing mellow types of music.  Choose acoustic if wire free grab and go appeals to the student.

  • Bass Guitar

    Bass guitar is typically a 4 string instrument. its strings are thick giving it a deep low tone. invented as a replacement to the large upright basses. it has a slightly longer neck. its roll in music is traditionally to play in sync with the drummer and to extend the notes of the six string guitar into a lower frequency.

  • Electric 6 String Guitar

    Electric guitars usually have 6 strings and generate the sound by the metal string vibrating over a magnetic pick up. The tiny electric signal generated travels down a cable to an amplifier and speaker, this turns the signal  back into sound.  

    Electric guitars come in 2 basic sizes 3/4 and full size.
