Mr. Scott has a BA Degree in Music and Sound Recording from University of New Haven and a MA Degree in Music Business from New York University. He started playing drums at age 6 and played live shows with his father's rock band starting age 12. Mr. Scott studied privately, and was also in school orchestra and marching bands from elementary to high school. He even formed high school rock bands to play at school events.
Mr. Scott has recorded and played professionally for over 10 years with various rock, funk, country, and original music bands. He is a Songwriter and Music Producer and is well versed in Logic Pro X, Garage Band. Familiar with Pro Tools, Ableton Live and other digital and analog recording techniques. He recently studied the craft of song writing at with Jody Gray at Gotham Writer's Workshop, and with Tony Conniff at his Manhattan recording studio. He also, recently studied Music Theory and Guitar with Tamara Hey at Alphabet City Music Workshops in Manhattan's Lower East Side.
Mr. Scott loves sharing his vast musical experience with his students instilling a life-long love of music in them.
